Storage Tips
- Fill boxes completely, stuffing open areas with plain newspaper to prevent damage and collapse when stacked.
- Do not to store combustible paints, chemicals, etc.
- Do not store perishable items (such as food that is not permanently sealed).
- Furniture drawers can be used to hold fragile items wrapped in bubble wrap or newpaper.
- Drain fluids from lawn & gardening items prior to storage.
- ProStorage sells high quality locks on-site; ask the Store Manager for details.
- ProStorage offers specially constructed boxes, such as wardrobe boxes, that will protect items from mildew build up and more.
- Mattresses should be covered properly and stored on flat, level surfaces.
- Small items like pots and pans may be stored in large appliances, such as stoves or refrigerators.
- Break down items (such as table legs) and store large furniture on end to save space.
- Use protective covers on wood furniture to prevent scratching and damage.
- Trash cans can be used to store shovels, hoes and rakes.
